Intelligent Listening
Forty -five percent of the time your employees spend in communication activities at work is in listening, which means that you are paying them nearly half of their salaries to listen. Yet, listening is a forgotten communication skill. While we are trained from an early age to read, write, and speak, we receive little or no training in listening. As a result, companies worldwide lose millions because of poor listening.
This program helps your staff draw a clear distinction between hearing and listening and provides strategies for different types of listening as different situations demand. Through interactive practice, we’ll identify and overcome common barriers to effective listening and develop skills in spotting and projecting congruency in speech.
